The Youngest Brother ll Gabriel and Adam
Gabriel had flown under the radar since his return. After his father brought him back, he found the world just about ripped to shreds under the uncontrolled rule of a Host-gone-wild. The Archangel had done his best to fall back into his role of a trickster but it was hard to ignore his nagging conscience. He had made a powerful decision the day he died. He had sided with the pathetically brilliant pink weasels that his father loved so much, and that decision didn't come without consequences. Especially in the case of one human in particular.
It had been a little over two months since Gabriel had gone into the cage with the intent to save the poor sack that had gotten sucked in with his brothers. Adam Milligan was his name, yeah that was it, the vessel that Michael had forcibly possessed. The poor kid would probably still be around if Gabe had actually defended his vessel... and there goes more guilt.
Anyway, when he arrived in the bowels of that place he found things even his vast imagination refused to believe. He did his best to stay in the darkness and he had suppressed his Grace so tightly to hide from his brothers he was almost sure he wouldn't make it back.
It took him three days of searching. (In which he discovered that Sam had been pulled out, his poor shredded soul left behind. Thats the Winchesters for you.) But on that third day he found Adam huddled in the corner, less damaged than he thought he would be. Gabriel breathed easier when he realized that, unlike Sam, Adam had been relatively ignored in the cage and the few wounds he bore could be mostly repaired. The Archangel did his best to put him back together before bringing him back to Earth.
The act hadn't drawn much attention and the two youngest brothers moved on, only one having knowledge of what happened to bring Adam back... until now.
Gabriel stood outside of the small house, leaning against one of the trees in the front yard. He shook his head and let out an exaggerated sigh at his human-like emotions, this was ridiculous.
