I found this mind boggling puzzle at the thrift store a while back, but only just now got to it.
After learning more about the Laserium, I am sad I missed out on the opportunity to see any of the shows in their heyday! However there's a nifty documentary about them on the Roku channel! You can watch it for free (with ads) here:
Exploring the pioneers behind the creation of moving laser images set to the sounds of music.
I do remember seeing laser light shows at some museums here and there as a youth. But I haven't seen any advertised for years though, now that I think of it! Do any of you remember going to laser shows at museums or other cultural heritage institutions (zoos, planetariums, etc)?
I'd love to see the return of the Museum Laser Light Show!
1976 flyer for Laserium. Given to me by a friend who had visited the London Planetarium in the late 1970s, where the show had been running. I don't think he saw the show himself, but for some reason he gave me the flyer. Possibly because he knew I liked lasers, even though at that time I'd never seen a real one in action.
Laserock, companion show to Laserium.
Schedules for Laserium and Laserock, 1976. Of particular interest to me are the inclusion of Pink Floyd's "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" and an excerpt from "Echoes"... I was given this flyer long before I ever even heard of Pink Floyd!

Lasershow wedding
Evening ~☆~ its hard to find a laserium theme, 8pm to 12am, March 7 (day of birth of the inventor of the laserium. He died in 2017, is it related to how hard these things are to find?) and indoors somewhere heated. Maybe at home with a star laser projector, if you can't find a laserium. Which is fine but, sigh, it's just not a fully programmed badass laser show taken in while high and laying on the ground surrounded by high people in a place that's usually a planetarium or something.
Life's little contradictions: I would definitely go see a concert promoted with this poster, but no amount of money could lure me into a van with this painted on the side.
A little reconstruction of artist Steven V. Correia’s late, lamented artwork “Southern Lights,” a kinetic laser sculpture that ran for years in late 80s-to-90s down here in the San Diego area.
