the original is too slow and full of non canon stuff, 2011 is the best one

I started hxh recently, to the newer one. It starts slow but the more you watch the more you tend to like killua and gon. The others doesnt really pull you in that much, at least for now. But i always watch 1-2 episodes a day. I came to the 20th episode in like a year but in the last month i watched up to 60-70

not anon but basically they're both rather faithful adaptions but the newer one covers more of the manga. it's not really a FMA/FMAB thing, but the newer one does rush a little bit through the first couple arcs, still works (mostly) fine tho. i'd probably reccomend the newer one to a first timer, but maybe watch the first episode of '99 if you can be bothered to (almost entirely cut and rather important). and yeah, it's a bit slow to start off... picks up as it goes tho
Good to know. I was kind of hoping this anyway because I’d prefer the 2011 one because nicer animation quality lmao. They’re both on Crunchyroll (I actually have the 2011 one in my queue for my “someday” animes) so maybe I’ll start that soon. I’m not really watching anything right now besides stuff that’s currently airing, so I could use something to binge.
