Does anyone else ever listen to survival stories where someone is like, lost in a forest or the desert or at sea or whatever and really confidently think “pfft, I’d definitely survive that” when in reality you’d probably be dead the first night? Because I do. 😂😂

Like who am I kidding I would NOT be surviving being stranded anywhere by myself with no food or water. 😂 I’m 100% dead unless someone finds me before I starve/die of dehyrdration/freeze to death/whatever else. But that doesn’t stop me from thinking I’d totally survive when I listen to other people’s stories.

At least I have a lot of fat my body could go through before I starve so if I found water and wasn’t somewhere where I’d freeze, and didn’t badly hurt myself somehow, I might survive long enough to be saved. 😅

Living like 20 minutes away from Niagara Falls and having seen the Falls countless times in my life and having done all the tourist attractions there multiple times in my life as well, I often forget that NF is like a MAJOR tourist destination that gets MILLIONS of tourists per year and people literally travel across the world to come here.

Like the other day I was talking to my mom about how places like BC and Alberta have all these beautiful mountains and Nova Scotia and Newfoundland have cliffs and icebergs and the ocean and then I was going to go on to say “and then there’s us in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do” before I was like. Oh wait. Niagara Falls. Forgot about that.

But I guess it’s probably like that for anyone who lives near something like that. The area right around it is specifically for tourists, so if you’re a regular resident in the area, it’s not like you’re going to go do all that expensive tourist stuff for fun every weekend, and the rest of the city is just… normal. 🤷‍♀️

The biggest “attractions” I go to regularly in Niagara Falls? The Chinese buffet and the movie theatre. Sometimes Red Lobster. 😂

#text #the one good thing about NF is there is a lot of natural stuff like trails and parks that you can go to for free #if you’re into nature stuff #most overrated attraction is journey behind the falls or the 3d movie thing lmao #if you live here and you go do tourist stuff you have to tell them so you don’t get charged a tourist tax too 🙃#I also tend to forget that I can easily drive to Toronto which is another place with lots of stuff to do

Owen Wilson really needs to get more roles like Mobius in Loki where he actually has to change his appearance for it. 😂 Like somehow I think the fact that he looks so different from his usual longer blonde hair, clean shaven look he has in every other movie he’s ever been in, makes Mobius much more interesting? It has nothing to even do with his acting but literally just how he looks.

Like in everything else I’ve ever seen him in it’s literally just like “that’s Owen Wilson in a Situation” but in Loki it’s like no, that’s MOBIUS of the TVA he’s bffs with Loki??? That’s not Owen Wilson at all?

Anyway I just saw a trailer for some new movie he’s in where he has his typical same old look which is what prompted this post. 😂
