Kickstarter Project!

This project is my way of celebrating love my Final Fantasy XII. 

I'm creating a collection of high-quality embroidered fan patches inspired by some of the game's most iconic characters:

Balthier & Fran

Basch & Noah

Larsa & Vayne

Each design is to capture the essence of certain characters and the relationships between them. From Balthier and Fran as sky pirates, Basch and Noah who share the role of Gabranth, and the brothers Solidor. Each pairing important to the story and to the world of Ivalice. These can be displayed on jackets, bags, backpacks, etc. 

At the end of his speech in Rabanastre, Vayne smiles; a moment open to multiple interpretations. One perspective suggests that the smile reflects a sense of triumph; having delivered a speech filled with insincere words meant to manipulate the citizens, the smile may have been him gloating over his success and mocking those he has deceived.

However, it is also possible that Vayne, despite his role as an antagonist, genuinely wished for peace in Rabanastre. This more nuanced reading paints him not as a purely evil figure, but as a complex character with sincere motives. Ultimately, how one interprets Vayne's smile can influence how they perceive him—and, by extension, the story of Final Fantasy XII as a whole.

Vayne would have been 15 when Larsa was born, so perfectly possible with regards to age.

Vayne having a child would have been scandalous and covered up, Larsa would have effectively been adopted by his grandparents.

This is why Vayne loves his "little brother" so much more than anything or anyone else. Larsa is a threat just for existing and yet he gives Larsa a powerful protector.

Vayne is a man that would, and did, kill his siblings. Vayne is a man that killed his father (who was in on it but still).
