Yes! That’s what I was saying to a friend. In the movie you have more sympathy for Gracie over Jamie than I feel that you get with the book where his story and gentleness are better explained. He comes off a lot more predatory than desperate I guess.
I totally had more sympathy for her in the film than in the book too. Yes! The way Morgan acts help a lot too, though. I feel like, having the story with Adam's point of view helps a lot to like Jamie best over Gracie. Even though, Gracie is his girlfriend, he still has this connection with Jamie. That friendship that could have been more. And I think that having Adam's feelings about it, like we were really in his head, makes us care about Jamie . While, in the movie, being a third person narrative, you don't have that. Not really.

Definitely! Especially when the book reveals so much more about the characters; it's such an easy and deep read.
Exactly. I mean, the characters are so much more than what people see in the movie (well it's easy to say so, the film is only 100 min long while the book is like 300 pages long). I feel like you understand more about every characters, their motives and all. Plus, Jamie is way more, idk, lovable (?) and vulnerable in the book considering everything we witness.

Thank you!! Not enough people know how amazing the book is
I know right? I'd like for more people to read this book, especially when they were interested in JMID. I don't understand why they're not thinking about reading. It's always amazing to get more of a story you like.
I know it's maybe a dumb suggestion, but Facebook page promotion has done a lot in the past for movies. If we can get everyone to share and like posts about the movie it may help.
That's not as dumb as you say, you know? I've personally been tracking stuff for 16 months and it took me about 3 weeks before discovering they had created a facebook page! So, yes, sharing the page is a good idea!
