Just coming here for an appeal for money - as it goes.
We’re in the process of creating a vibrant community space in the middle of our small, economically struggling town of Lansdowne, PA. In an “if you build it...” sort of effort, all sorts of people from town are banding together to create a free outdoor community space from out of next to nothing.
The space will be free to use for events, with all ages programming from story time to DJ nights to readings to middle school sports team BBQs to skillshares to bingo. Just fill out the submission form to request part of The Landing for use - a true community vibe with no barrier to entry.
But - we need some funds to keep this going. We’ve been eeking along trying to build as much of it for free as we can, but with a project opening date of May 27th, it would happen a lot easier with a little help.
