20210202 Creating another plan for the day, with the intent to stick to it.

i had a very off-balance week, so i photographed the last couple planner spreads as a small pick-me-up. i’m still experimenting with what layout or approach works best.

Happy with the look of this week’s spread, even if it’s at the small expense of functionality.

Love getting to break out a new Field Notes notebook for work stuff ✨✨ To store them, I went for their standard issue box and it feels just right.

The Jibun Techo Biz joins my stack of analog time and project management tools. I’m pleased about everything about this new book, from the simple and mature looking layout, to its form factor. ✨

Firing all of my cylinders in Chapter 1 of Genki. Even though I’d be most likely typing on a phone these days, feeling comfortable writing hiragana by hand is mightily important to me.

About to do my planning for the day. It’s sometimes discouraging for my day to sometimes not quite match how I intend for them to go when timeblocking, but I do feel that I get a little closer to that goal each week. I think this is because of the value of practicing discipline in time management, as well as my ability to see my natural work and play patterns for what they are and adapt to them.

This week’s intention is to lean on time blocking to get everything done. I believe that with structure, I can be free to slow down and savor study and creative output.
