Doubt anyone'd know that being a 'snack' is a compliment in 1999.
I admit, the slang is a bit odd to me, but how's it functionally any different than being "all that and a bag of chips"? If being "a snack and a half" implies anything, it's that I'm the proverbial chips and more.

“Based off of”.
This makes me grind my teeth every time I see it. It doesn’t make any sense. A base is something you stand on. If a rocket is on its base, it’s ready to launch. If a rocket is off its base, it’s probably fallen over. If third base is off his base, the runner can get on the base and be safe.
Don’t even get me started on the unnecessary “of”.
