The world is dark. There's a pitch black sky with gray clouds that seem to circle the you and the spit of land that you 're standing on. Along with the rest of the world; it's like being in the middle of a funnel. The only light is from the lanterns (like the ones you would see on the streets of London), which were scattered around the world. They had an eerie green glow to them, which unnerves you. 

 Then you notice that the clouds are lined with electricity. You can see the sparks light up the sky in little pinpricks of light. You blink; these are almost like stars, thinking about it. It's sort of pretty.

And you're supposed to stop this? That's what your sprite told you your mission in this world was; stop the lightning. How were you supposed to do that and why would you need to? The only clue you have is that you're supposed to be a 'Sylph of Void,' as your sprite told you. 

You eventually notice a small mouse-like creature ahead. It's waving frantically at you, like it's motioning for you to move. 

Curious, you step closer towards the consort. About five seconds later a lightning bolt strikes the ground right behind you.

You fall to the ground with a yelp, twisting to see the point of impact. You see a charred spot on the place that you just were. That could have hit you!  You could have died from not being careful!

The consort dashes towards you and squeaks an explanation; lightning bolts tend to hit those who stay still for too long, so you have to keep moving to survive in the world. It does stop on occasion, but those instances are scattered throughout the day; no rest period is on the same time of day twice in a row.

Now what your sprite told you about how you're supposed to stop the lightning makes complete sense; stop the lightning or there'd be little to no rest for you or the consorts. 

You draw in a shaky breath. If all you had to do to avoid the stray bolts was to keep moving, you'd be golden. 

You run after the consort as she hurries back to the village.
