Hello, I've purchased and downloaded contents the Sims Store for Sims 3. When I have finished downloading them, I installed the items through the launcher (and the launcher thing inside the game), but even though I've installed them successfully, they do not show up in game. Ironically, CC's install and show up in game just fine. Riverview does not show up in the game, or any of the contents I've downloaded from the Store... I tried re-downloading them but same thing happens. What do I do?
Greetings, many people have this issue. It is frustrating to purchase something and not have it work.
One suggestion is to use the in-game store to try and download and install your items.
Another suggestion: Take this folder: My Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3 and move the whole thing to your desktop. Then start up your game and try installing the store items again. If it works this time, it is something in your old "The Sims 3" folder causing the issue.
Crinrict has a guide about store items uninstalling themselves that you might find useful here.
I also found this thread that has a few suggestion on how to get it to work for a Mac.
And if none of this helps, I suggest you contact EA Support, since you purchased something from them that is not working. :)
