Shiro shouts at him and you can see it really upset him. He even doest think Shiro believes he's good enough. I mean this line says it all really.

Even as the show goes on he knows something's up with Shiro, he's obviously nervous around Shiro. In the last episode when Pidge tells Shiro to take Lance his expression showed some anxiety over going.

But when he does go he's trying to make sure Shiro is okay even though he's weary. He honest to god cares for Shiro even though he feels that Shiro doesn't sometimes.

Yet he still looks at Shiro like he's amazing.

Yeaaaahhh... I wanted to make a short comic of Klance but I stopped over a month ago and know I just redid it (it’s actually just a fast sketch), so people don’t need to wait even longer. Anyway! xD Here it is!
