She is mouthy.

In the literal as well as metaphorical sense. Rambling and quick witted. But also her mouth is expressive and delightful. Bitter and sweet all at once. Soft pink lips turned up into possibly the most beautiful smile Lana has seen in a long time.

Since Clark had grinned at her in the barn before Paris. All sharp fangs and inviting plush lips. But that wouldn’t do to dwell on, not given everything.

“Let me get this straight,” Lois looks at her with wide hazel eyes. “You left the city of love to graduate in the creamed corn capital of the world?"

Lana laughs. She had known Lois for all of ten or so minutes, but she had managed to be so… alive it was exhilarating. Lois shared all of her thoughts readily and beautifully. It was a relief.

“Smallville has a way of calling you back,” she says simply.

It’s almost cryptic, not at all how she intends to come off. Not with the soft feeling in her chest or the ease she feels in Lois’s presence. It’s borderline intoxicating.

“Oh?” Lois grins. More intrigued than anything. “I know this town is weird, I just assumed that would make one want to get away.”

Lana gives her a thoughtful look. “The weird kinda imprints on you once you’ve been here long enough.”
