I've been asked on more than one occasion, "How is it that you know so much about Chanukah even though you're not Jewish?'
Well, it's because I grew up watching Lambchop. And Lambchop's creator, Shari Lewis, was Jewish. So she made a Lampchop Chanukah special that has become mandatory viewing in our household every December. (There's a Passover special too!)
If you ever get want a brief, fun primer on Chanukah (or just some screwy Lampchop fun/90's nostalgia) then I totally recommend it. (Plus it has Alan Thicke and other fun guest stars).
Anyway, now the full special is on Youtube if anyone wants to check it out. (And from the research I’ve done/consultation I’ve done with Jewish individuals, everything on the video is correct.
