I think The Gang Buys a Roller RinkĀ couldāve benefited from a Rashomon style delivery of the Gang telling their versions of the past and it cutting back to the present with someone interrupting being likeĀ āTHATāS NOT HOW IT HAPPENEDāĀ āI DONāT SOUND LIKE THATāĀ āIāVE NEVER SAID THATā etc. Thatās alwaysĀ funny and lends more to the unreliable narrator trope. And if things are inconsistent, which they were, itās easier to forgive/write off bc everyoneās telling their own versions and no one remembers things correctly.Ā Also Iām a sucker for the actors having to act how they think their characters would act from another characterās POV. Anyway.Ā
