For this film I am simply going to post the illustrated podcast from the LAMBcast. I worked on it for several days, through computer glitches and household upturns, and Iâm proud of the result and too tired to write a review as well.

I make no secret of the fact that this is my favorite Sam rami film, yes even ahead of âEvil Dead 2â and âArmy of Darknessâ and all the Spider-Man movies. The reasons are apparent when you look at the trailer: it is a western, it stars Gene Hackman, and it features a badass woman with a gun. That is a formula that is hard to screw up, and when you add in Sam Ramiâs directing style and SharonâŚ
I have been behind on my posts for a variety of reasons, and the major one is that I have often been wrapped up in the LAMBcast Podcast that I host. I record and edit the podcast but I also try to produce an illustrated version for YouTube. It takes a lot of time to do that, so in an effort to catch up on my promise to cover everything I see in a theater, I am simply going to share theâŚ

Itâs that time, when we look back at the last year and consider our accomplishments and our failures. Everyone has high and low points that make up their lives, and some of us feel the necessity of sharing that information with others. This blog is focused on movies, so you wonât read about car troubles, health issues, tax problems or insurance frustrations. There are other venues for that. Here,âŚ
Itâs the end of the year and time to narcissistically look back on what my Movie Year entailed. After two years of Covid impact, things started to get back to normal, but the streaming monster that was awakened may very well be set to stomp all over the Cinema World.

I saw fiftythree new features in theaters this year but I actually went to a lot more film screenings than that numberâŚ

As part of Jay Cluittâ departing host of the Large Association of Movie Blogs (aka the LAMb)â LAMBcast huge Virtual Farewell Party - I prepared the following 10 Questions, for my little segment ( #podcast 190:50 "Le Anne is curious about Jayâs viewing habits" Â click link to listen to entire show)
I only had time to ask 4 or 5. But thought it would be fun to put the questions out there for any viewers to answer in the comments or share with othersâŚ
1. Â WHAT MOVIE DO YOU CONVINCE OTHERS TO WATCH?
T&T: Nacho Vigalondoâs COLOSSAL (Anne Hathaway & Jason Sudeikis) not a lot of people have seen it and when I try to explain itâs a Kaiju mixed with a Rom/Com, and a little angsty, itâs hard to convince people all those things mix together perfectly in this flick from 2017.
2. IF YOUâVE SEEN THE MOVIE YESTERDAY (DANNY BOYLE) THE WORLD FORGOT THE BEATLES EVER EXISTED. IF EVERYONE IN THE WORLD EXCEPT YOU SUDDENLY FORGOT THESE 5 CLASSIC POP CULTURE FILMS, WHICH WOULD YOU BE THE SADDEST ABOUT THE WORLD FORGETTING? AND WHICH WOULD YOU TRY TO RECREATE? â
  Back to the Future
  Star Wars
  The Godfather
  Groundhogs Day
  The Wizard of Oz
T&T: Although, it was hard for me to watch THE WIZARD OF OZ as a child because of all the anxiety I felt about Dorthy being lost and of course those terrifying Flying Monkeyâs, I still feel this would be a crushing loss to the world of entertainment, music and imagination if the world forgot.
And Iâd remake STAR WARS because Iâd like to remove a few battle scenes and add more time for the characters to have bonding moments, plus it would still probably make just as much perpetual loot, if it were made for the first time today.
3. Â FAVORITE MOVIE TO FALL ASLEEP TO?
T&T: Carey Grant & Ingrid Bergman in INDISCREET â itâs truly one of my favorites, but Iâve seen it so many times and its pacing and music makes it so comforting to fall asleep watching.
4. PLAY THE GAME MARRY, KISS, KILL WITH THESE 3 MARVEL HEROES â IRONMAN, BLACK PANTHER, THOR (for this game you have to go back in time when everyone was alive both literally & fictionally)
T&T:  This is hard because Iâd definitely want to live in Wakanda, but I donât feel the same kind of chemistry for Black Panther (no offense to the sadly deceased Chadwick Boseman) as I do the other two. As all my friends know Iâve always had a crush on Robert Downey, Jr. and Iron Manâs home life with Pepper Potts looked so lovely, he seemed to settle down well. But Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is so handsome and funny & manly, well, when heâs not in the dumps drinking too much beer.  And of course, heâs the hardest to kill⌠I donât have an answer
5. NAME 3 MOVIE YOU STOP AND WATCH WHENEVER YOU CATCH THEM ON TV THAT YOU KNOW ARE NOT GOOD MOVIES?
T&T: LOOK WHOâS TALKING & LOOK WHOâS TALKING TOO & Michael Keaton in DUPLICITY
