NH1... Don’t be the Gama, In the land of Lama...series continues Now #khaltsey was altogether a very different town on the way Leh, at the elevation of 9800ft high above the sea level. Quite reach town, we had our lunch at Khaltsey and it was delicious punjabi cuisine because mostly you will get Maggie on any dhaba around. Entering Khaltse by the road from Srinigar, it is clear, one is entering the heartland of Buddhism with its chortens or small stupas, mani stones and prayer flags. Upstream from Khalatse, and downstream on the right bank of the Indus, the people are almost all Buddhist. The ones downstream are mostly Brokpa or Dards. Khalatse is also famous for its apricots. Beautiful side of the town, it was surrounded with mountains and quite cozy place it’s won’t some time. Pour mon anniversaire, mon père, Cécilia, Chris et moi sommes partis dans le Northland sur la côte de Tutukaka, situé à l'est de Whangareioù nous avons logé dans un formidable Bookabach au beau milieu du vignoble de Sailfish. A peine arrivé en voiture, Chris et moi eurent le souffle coupé par le magnifique spectable du couché de soleil sur le domaine et la mer. Nous furent également surprise de voir que nos hôtes possédent un plus du vignoble, un élevage d'alpagas. - On my birthday, my Father, Cecilia, Chris and I went to the Northland on the Tutukaka coast, east of Whangareio where we stayed in a wonderful Bookabach in the middle of the Sailfish vineyard. As soon as we arrived, Chris and I had a breathtaking view of the magnificent sunset over the vineyard and the sea. To our surprise, our host also had an alpacas farming activity.
