Hey there! So, SP is also my favorite band. And I feel the same way about the new song. I want to be really into it because of SP.....but I'm just not, and that's kinda scary. They've been my obsession for 7 years now and idk how to feel about this song if it's setting the stage for the rest of the album. But yeah, you're not alone.
It took me a few listens, but yeah, it’s not my favorite song they’ve ever released. I hope the album will be a good mix of songs! They’ve been my favorite band since forever, so I completely understand how you feel. It just scares me that they change their sound completely. I don’t think they will, I know they like to experiment... but yeah, it worries me. :(
