she was born and raised in messina, sicily (italy) to an american mother and an italian father

she lived there till she was sixteen, the age that she triggered her werewolf curse (passed down from her father’s side) by accidentally killing another person during a drunken night out turned brawl

ashamed of what she had done and what she had become, she was sent to live with her grandfather who lived in a town called lakefalls, he owns an italian restaurant called deluca’s ristorante and she finished out her education there and worked part time in the restaurant until she graduated and worked towards becoming a police officer

she became a cop as a way to try and make her feel better about the fact that she took a life - so far it isn’t working, but its at least a start

she like highkey hates who and what she’s become, but doesn’t address this fact because she’s always putting others and everything else before herself and doesn’t really know how to stop that

she has a sarcastic tongue and is rarely able to bite back a retort in conversation, though she generally throws up an apology afterwards because her mouth runs faster than her thoughts

she was nineteen when she came out as a lesbian to her grandfather who basically became her guardian and at first he was a little confused and unsure of what this would mean for their family etc, but eventually he accepted it as a part of who she is and pretty much always asks her if she’s found a nice girl yet - the answer always being no because lennox doesn’t trust herself to be close to someone due to what she is

has never once owned a tv - her parents just weren’t into technology, and as a result has never seen lord of the rings, star wars, harry potter etc and isn’t entirely bothered by this fact, she’s more of a practical person and is more likely to be found on a run than stuck in front of a screen

fitness freak

her dominant language is italian but is proficient and fluent in english, though she tends to rant and shout in italian when angered, she can’t help it she just reverts to her natural tongue when pushed

she could recite the police codes and tell you which number relates to which crime, but ask her where her keys are and there’ll just be a blank expression returned - she’s constantly losing things like her keys and phone and has a habit of leaving them behind - she’s the type of person to claim they’ve lost their phone while holding it, she’s the worst

redemption is what she mainly seeks in life, but knows she’ll never truly achieve it because the life of the man she killed never deserved this, and there’s nothing she can do to make it up to him or his family
