What they smell like:Llynnel: Like juniper, sharp and woody and like pine. the branches of needles that make up his hair, especially, smell strongly of pine.Laith: Like pine wood sawdust from a table saw, warm and slightly sweet, just a bit like woodsmoke. When blooming, the flowers in her branches smell lightly floral and sweet, sort of like carnations.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):Llynnel: On his side, only slightly curled up. When alone, he sometimes winds up rolling onto his stomach. With someone else in the bed, he often rolls a bit into them, and they wake up with him wrapped around them a bit like an octopus.Laith: There aren’t many sleeping positions that are comfortable for her. She usually winds up sleeping on her back with her head tipped slightly to the side to allow her branches space. With no restrictions, however, she would likely sleep curled up in a bit of a ball.

What music they enjoy:Llynnel: He prefers silence (he can’t concentrate when there’s music, it makes it hard for him to think), but he tends to appreciate things like piano solos.Laith: Waltzes. They’re the only thing she knows how to dance to, but she’s decent at them, and finds the music soothing. 

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:Llynnel: Well over an hour. He’s very meticulous about his his clothing, and takes a long time making himself look neat and well-prepared. He also eats very slowly, and isn’t much of a morning person to begin with.Laith: However long it takes her to put her armor on properly. She doesn’t fuss about it or stall, though she makes sure it’s on correctly and well cared for. 

Their favorite thing to collect:Llynnel: He likes collecting interesting artifacts and other curiosities. He’s not sure what all of them are, but he’s been able to affix labels to most of his collection with rough guesses at the very least.Laith: She doesn’t collect a lot – it’s hard to carry things with her, living such a minimalistic lifestyle. But she used to press plants she found in the desert. She’s seen them all a hundred times by now, but she still has the book she pressed them in, full of the pressings.

Left or right-handed:Llynnel: Right handed, right eye dominantLaith: Left handed, right eye dominant

Religion (if any):Neither of them have any religion to speak of.

Favorite sport:Llynnel: He can’t play sports anymore, really, but he used to love the rough-and-tumble feeling of exploring old caverns on foot, with rope and pick and a sense of adventure.Laith: She would really like fencing. The eye for detail required for it would be something she’d be really into.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):Llynnel: He goes straight for the museums and doesn’t come out until they’ve all closed.Laith: She winds up going to all the touristy sightseeing spots determined to not have a good time, but winds up having one anyway.

Favorite kind of weather:Llynnel: Heavy snowfall, when the world goes quiet and dim.Laith: Torrential rain. The kind where you get soaked to the bone and you can barely hear your own thoughts for the pounding of the rain on the street. She loves to go out and stand in it.

A weird/obscure fear they have:Llynnel: He’s terrified of fire. Of course, almost everyone is to some degree, but he can’t even stand leaving his candles burning if he has to leave his room even to talk to someone at the door. Laith: She’s terrified of even the sight of the dragonbrand. Sometimes purple objects or clothing are enough to make her uncomfortable.
