What do you know about Lævateinn or loki's weapon?
So far I know it's a sword or a magic staff and it say that loki made it when he fornt of death gate (dont know literally or metaphor), it's never say it what his weapon can do.
Oh yes, it's in the Poetic Edda. Its destiny is to slay the cockrel ViĂ°ofnir atop the MĂmameiĂ°r tree (it's Yggdrasil's twin).
People are not sure if it's a sword or a magic staff, because its name is sometimes translated as "wand". But yeah, it's probably a sword ^^'

I really liked Laevateinn! I hope we see it again in season 2 of Loki and get the story of how Kid got it, who forged it (please be Sigyn ^^’).

So, you know how, during Viking weddings the bride and the groom exchanged swords?Â
What if Sigyn was the one to give Loki the sword Laevaetinn? (being Iwaldi’s daughter in the comics and quite good with the magical arts too, she might have forged it herself? )
In the series, maybe Kid got it from another Loki (who was married to Sigyn)... or he got it directly from the last Sigyn variant (before Kang wipped them all from the sacred timeline for helping Loki a bit too much). One last gift to protect him before she died?
Laevaetinn is described as Loki’s “ancestral sword”, and yeah... that type of sword was used for the wedding ceremony ^^’Â
