"Hello there, Miss. Succubus!" Lady Truth waves, hurriedly clearing off a few loose pieces of paper on her desk as she motions the other over to join her. "I've been doing quite well. Much more so with this lovely spring weather we're having! How about yourself?"

It seemed the lady detective was deliberately taking a moment to debate what information on her case load to share. Much more so as she grabbed 2 tea cups and arranged them on her desk.

"You came just in time, you know. I just finished brewing some tea! Would you like some?" She asked, her head tilting a bit to the side as her hands hovered over a medium-sized teapot.

"Oh! I'm getting ahead of myself - you asked about my cases! They have gone fairly well! Lots of excitement and fascinating discoveries as per usual. Although I do wish I could wear my bird costume again. I haven't gotten a case with such a lavish dress code in a good while.."

Welcome! This is a blog dedicated to roleplaying Lady Truth from the T&I Series in IDV.

Lady Truth blinked as she read over the letter's contents for a moment. It filled her with a wave of nostalgia in a way - at least that was partially the only word she could properly pin to the feeling. Either way, it was an interesting question- one she hadn't really gave herself time to think much into.

"Dear Mysterious Sender,

Ah yes! I do remember that! That feels like it shouldn't be as long ago as it was. But I checked the calander and it seems like it was! How time flies.

In my humble opinion, it was far too much for me to feel comfortable with for a simple party assistant role. It felt like it was supposed to be something to blind my eyes from seeing underlying truths that might emerge. A careful misdirection of sorts. Although that might be from my own knowledge on the family itself from my investigations with the agency.

Regardless, I believe it was a good $100,000 if I'm recalling the numbers correctly. I apologize, sender, but I filed the check away a while after the case.

Lady Truth glanced at the ever cluttered stack of papers on her desk. Oh goodness! How she’d sworn she’d filed these before she’d left! How embarrassing! Flicking the first letter open on the pile, she gave a tentative hum as she read it.

“Dear Mysterious Sender!

I am! You see, Mr. Inference and I, despite our many differences have fairly similar training when it comes to skills needed within cases. Most of the time, when we assign cases to eachother, we more so try to do so based on tact or who’d we’d think is the most suited to the client. It causes a tad less stress for all parties that way.

I will say, we’ve both had to bail eachother out of some particularly bad scenarios on occasion though. So one should never act too careless for such things.

I hope this can ease your worries regardless!

With a swift stamp of approval from herself and the seal of hot wax, she sent the letter on its way. Grimacing as she picked up the next paper - a newspaper agency trying to get a hint on their latest cases.

Truth was mid picking some pesky onions out of her sandwich for lunch when the letter landed upon her desk. She tilted her head, drying her hands on a spare napkin as she read through the letter.

"Hello Dear Sender!

I do believe I have. Or at least I know Mr. Infrence used to be quite a picky eater when we were younger. Which is annoying sometimes as he gets on my case about not liking raw tomatoes.

Its not my fault they taste so bad! Or that they're in everything! Same with raw onions - Bleh!

....

I suppose the truth is that makes, me the picky eater of the agency now, doesn't it?

Lady Truth read over the letter, thinking back to her last free day she'd had. She'd gone on a particularly nice walk if she remembered correctly. Or was that the last last free day she'd had? Hard to say.

Would you like to go on a date with me? 🍫💖

"Why thank you! I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day as well! Be sure to eat lots of choclate ok?" She winked playfully, pretending as though she was giving a semi serious mission. "That or find the prettiest gift for who you admire!"

"Wh- Whoa! Such a sudden confession!" She clapped her hands over her cheeks. Rambles over silly holiday shinanigans tumbled out of the detectives mouth as she swayed back and forth.

That was at least till something clicked in her mind.

"Wait one moment. You never said where we'd go." She blinked. "I must hear your plans out further. Not only so I can keep my vigilance as a detective, but also so I can give a more definate answer!"
