Vimire: Ashley or Kaidan?

Ever played the multiplayer, and did you like it?

Preferred Shepard Backstory:

I’d have to say Colonist. It’s always just felt the most interesting in terms of drama, character depth and tied into the setting. To me, Earthborn has always felt a bit bland and uninteresting in that it almost feels like it plays to the self-insert aspect of Shepard? Meanwhile Spacer feels just a bit too ‘safe’. Meanwhile, the Colonist background ties directly into the Human-Batarian conflict that underlines much of the trilogy and just comes off the most interesting.

I also feel like Colonist can potential tie into one or even both of the other backgrounds, as I went into in my recent ‘Combined Shepard Background’ post.

Unfortunately no, and looking back I do wish I’d given it a try at least. A lot of the more unique character abilities/playstyles seem really fun (jetpack turians and teleport spamming biotic ninjas look sick lol)

Funny enough, I’ve had a small side-project going for a while now where I’ve been essentially ‘upgrading’ the main cast circa ME3 with multiplayer abilities. It’s been pretty fun XD

And a literally queen that spawns "egg tokens"

It really does track surprisingly well when you think about it lol

It is funny, though at the same time, I have to admit I kinda get it?

Gaia’s dragon mount has basically always been Curse of Dragon, so I feel like it makes some sense that we wouldn’t see him riding Timeaus?

I think the REAL disappointment is that Timaeus ended up getting hard-locked into being Dark Magician support thanks to Yami only ever successfully fusing him with DM and DMG. Rather than clearly being support for various fun fusions with all of Yugi’s OTHER iconic monsters.

Unfortunately it didn’t, but Yes! I saw the update on YGOrg. Always great to see under appreciated characters getting that kind of support and love XD

Remember the Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman? Those two cards lil Yugi used against Atem in his final duel?

Did you know that eventually, those two monsters would get together and have a daughter?

Yeah, I was already aware of that and it's a really fun detail :D

Honestly we need more 'Silent' support. Like I really want to see a fully-leveled, full power Silent Paladin who's taken the best elements from both her parents.

Heck, maybe they can fold the Silent archetype into the retooled 'Silenforcer'/'Skull Guardian'/'Novox'/'no-I-am-not-calling-it-Voiceless-Voice-because-that-name-is-fucking-stupid-what-were-you-thinking?!' archetype.

It's certainly starting to look more like the Shining Sarc series is less a "Little Yugi only" deck and more "Generic celebration of all of Yugi/Atem's cards" series.

And yeah, I think I agree with you on that. I mean the ‘Shining Sarcophagus’ can just as easily represent Yugis and Atems relationship as a whole. Does feel like a bit of a bummer that it couldn’t be a ‘Little Yugi only’ archetype.

So the fact that there's an evil Alphen and now an Evil Ranger and they both share the same stats and level as the White Ranger, I'd like to think it fully confirms the theory that White Layer is just Alphen powered up and this evil Ranger is the evil Alphen powered up and battling one another.

I did! They're looking pretty cool, plus I have always liked the Super Quant's so it's great to see them getting more support. I love how the new Quantum Black Layer just goes full Shadow the Hedgehog edgelord look with a giant-ass gun XD Definitely looking forward to seeing whatever their Mecha Beast Xyz is going to be like.

And I mean was it ever really MEANT to be a secret that White Layer was just a powered-up Fairy Alphan? lol :) But yeah, it's cool that we're seeing that concept continued with Zetan as Alphan's Evil Counterpart.
