But it’s so much fun when she does! Lol. For someone who is usually quite quick on her feet, Cosima was really not good at impersonating the others. I guess the dreads and the glasses aren’t the only reason why Cosima has only done a cloneswap once. At least she knew she was bad at it. Haha.

yeah not so much calculated but it came up pretty early on in these discussion asks that Yang would’ve been six at the absolute most during the timeframe of that story - not much attention is drawn to it because thanks to the direction, character design and framing, Yang comes off as older than she really is and was - she’s never shown in comparison to the younger Ruby in the flashback itself and indeed Ruby is shown only sleeping in the wagon, making her seem much smaller than Yang (here’s the actual size difference from a concept sketch). Yang is also rarely in scenes with adults and is therefore often among the tallest in any given scene, and coupled with how she defaults to being team mom, makes her come off as older than she really is. in fact it’s not until episode 8 of volume 3 where Yang starts appearing in scenes with adults more frequently and she’s always sitting down in those scenes, making them tower over her even more and really driving home how young she really is
