🐾 At first he thought it was a mirage of his reality-deprived brain that was trying to conjure any image of familiarity and comfort, but after rubbing his eyes and blinking to confirm that yes, she was still there, his mouth went dry.

It could have been anyone. Not that he would have complained, but it was the fact that Marinette was on the other side of the sidewalk. Shy, bumbling Marinette. Confident class president Marinette. His first real friend Marinette. His feet hardly touched the ground as he found himself maneuvering around all the obstacles in his path.

How could someone as beautiful as her not have enough clothes to wear throughout the day? Say no more because today she is here to fix it with one of her favorite activities... shopping!

She searched high and low on the shopping district but nothing seemed to catch her eye when it came to the fashion here. There’s gotta be a store that just screamed ‘give us your money! we have amazing things!’

Until she found the cutest decorated little shop that’s plopped on a little corner of the city sidewalk and her eyes sparkled as she walked towards the window displays. So many dresses of different shapes and hues. The hems of the various skirts decorated with frills and sequins. Cute little novelty hats with colorful feathers and even racks full of gemstone jewelry. 

Without looking at the title of the store itself she ran inside and the store’s music was friendly and full of pop music. This was it! This was definitely her style. She didn’t know where to start first but she spotted a shirt dress that caught her eye and she looked at herself in the mirror and pressed the garment onto herself while twirling around.

             When Damian’s fist descended to strike the man before him, the last thing he expected was to have a yo-yo line wrap itself around his wrist and fix it firmly in place. Surprise flickered across his expression for a split second, the fingers of his free hand opening and releasing the bunched-up material of the almost-punched man’s shirt and allowing him to fall to the ground, groaning. The purse robber was already mostly unconscious and completely harmless, and so Damian turned his head, focusing on the rope now attached to his arm. His gaze followed the line until he found its source... a girl, clothed in a skintight red and black polka dot outfit. A mask not unlike his own obscured her face, and her eyes flared with indignant outrage. She had the look of a superhero, though not one he’d ever heard of. And, considering that Damian made it his point to know any notable hero in the universe, it made the boy narrow his eyes in immediate suspicious.

“Heeeeey!”

Hajime is sprinting towards the stranger, a red yo-yo in her hand as she waves them around, trying to get the girl’s attention before she gets too far away from her. 

“Heeeey! Come back, you dropped this!”
