Walking through the city to find some familiar faces, she passed a girl with long violet hair. She stopped in her tracks to look at her. There was certainly... something very special about her energy. She could only see the glare from the wide rimmed giasses the girl was wearing but she couldn’t help but stop in her tracks.

She was dropped off in an unknown city, yet again. Being somewhat nervous, she stops a beautiful girl with teal hair, her garments looking something out of a fashion maganize! Or maybe a manga? Who knows but she was certainly beautiful, maybe she’s friendly?

“Hello! Sorry for this being so sudden! I don’t really know where I am right now? I’m so tired of being moved place to place! The person who dropped me off said nothing and--”

It’s been a while since she’s been at a dance. She couldn’t even remember the last time she did but goodness was this particular one fun! It’s good to see the usual citizens of this place try to enjoy themselves and it’s always nice to slow down for a while and appreciate the little things in life like this. She was wearing a dress with a simple silhouette with a light pink hue to it. She could see people doing limbo and she clapped and cheered to the people who achieved the challenge. She looked around and she spotted a taller gentleman with an unusual outfit. In fact, he was shirtless sporting a big tattoo on his chest. She thought it looked really fashion forward and with no shame she approached him.

“Your outfit! How interesting!” Her voice was always leaking with optimism and she looked him up and down and noticed his strange haircut too, and she wondered how the hair manages it’s shape.

             As the girl proceeded to walk around the two unconscious men before kneeling before him, Damian watched her with slightly narrowed eyes. He could see almost immediately that she viewed him as simply a child, and thought that perhaps his victory over the two criminals had been simple dumb luck. His expression took on a stormy tone at the use of the phrase “little guy”, but he remained silent throughout the entirety of her ranting. It seemed to Damian that she was, for lack of better words, a complete and utter airhead. Her silly hero name and catch phrase, her peace sign and smile. He got the feeling she’d be someone Grayson would get along well with; but, for Damian, she was simply an annoyance.

        Looking her straight in the eyes, for with her crouching and him standing, they were now the same height, he regarded her with a cold look. Damian wondered, vaguely, how she had survived this long.

          ❝ Are you playing dumb, or are you simply that stupid? ❞ Way to go for democracy, Robin. ❝ I’m not a child to be coddled and fussed over. As for you, don’t act ignorant. We’ve met before, when you ruined my stakeout of these two. ❞ A leg was lazily extended, the tip of Damian’s boot digging itself into one of the dealer’s ribs. At her comment about parents, though, his lip curled slightly. ❝ I already called the police. Guess you were too busy being useless to notice. ❞

Oh dear. She pinched a nerve with him. She could tell by his stance and the way he looked at her that she wasn’t pleased with the way she spoke to him. He’s right though, it was her from the other night and if he was this smart to figure it out then there’s no point in hiding it. She took off her bright red mask and gave him another goofy grin.

“You caught me! I just didn’t want it to be obvious... but there’s no point hiding from you is there?” She stayed crouching down so she can give him proper eye contact and she bowed her head a little to him. 

“I apologize then. I didn’t mean to cause you trouble. You really did do an amazing job.” Out of the corner of her eye she took see one of the crooks crawling towards the boy from behind with a concealed weapon. Her eyes narrowed onto the gun that was on the floor and picked it up to point it behind the boy.

“Drop it. It’s two against one and that’s not really fair isn’t it? The police are coming, you’re already caught.”

Well, this had gotten rather serious all of a sudden. It had always been serious, really. But now she looked to be especially upset about the situation. And, more importantly, upset at him. He can’t imagine why, though. It wasn’t like he was the one ripping people apart with his own hands.

“『Well, men do tend to be pretty jealous a lot of the time. But if you want to ask me something, then go ahead! Is it about phone number?』”

She clenched her fist really tightly. Sure, he wasn’t out there actively hurting people. In fact, he wasn’t the one who even sent the robots out in the first place. It was just the principle of it all. How he gave people false hope, the glint in his eyes as he said he was siding with that woman, the way he mocked her... how he mocked everybody? She couldn’t stand him, even now he didn’t think nothing about this. It was all about him. In a way, he was her exact opposite and perhaps hating him was natural.

Doesn’t mean he can’t be taught a lesson though.

Quickly, her fist hit right below his chin. She hit him so hard that her knuckles started to burn. She could feel the sliding on bone on bone under her skin and the fingers that were holding up the boy’s collar relaxed and immediately dropped him to the floor without warning. She looked him straight in the eyes, her eyes shining with fury.

“Eat shit.” 

She looked at her fist and the white glove was stained with some of his blood. In a way, looking at it was satisfying.

“『First of all, that was really rude. Do you enjoy hurting people’s feelings like that? That’s not very nice of you! Second of all.. I forgot what I was going to say. But wow, do you see that guy being ripped in half over there? That is not pleasant to look at.』”

“That’s enough.”

The blonde wraps her fingers against the boy’s shirt collar and lifts him up with little to no ease at all thanks to her enhanced strength. Her wrists were trembling with not fear, but anger.

“Guys like him? Are the worst ever! I hope he never gets a girlfriend as long as he lives! In fact, I hope no girl looks at him ever again!”
