THE MEDIEVAL TALES OF LADY BUG AND SIR CAT NOIR: The process
Final Preview of my comic for the @ladybugzine! Thanks again for letting me be a part of this, Iâm still so honored! ;//m//;Â
This preview shows the process I went through to create my comic. I started with a script first, then moved on to thumbnails. After that I created an 8.5 x 11 size rough draft. And finally I moved on to larger paper about 15x18, and penciled out the whole comic, inked it with Windsor & Newton inkwell pen among others, and colored with Prismacolor Markers. The finishing touches were handled on Photoshop! Â
Whatâs this? Could It be a possible Medieval Ladybug and Chat Noir comic in the works?? Who knows? Maybe (hopefully, if I get chosen) itâll be in a Miraculous Fanzine? Who knowsss? ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
Lady âBugâ , Sir Chat Noir, and High Wizard HawkMoth | The Ladybug, Chat Noir and HawkMoth of medieval times! â˘Lady Bug is very stoic knight, serious and rock-solidâbut under the helmet is a simple peasant girl. Meanwhile Sir Chat is very proud, headstrong and fiestyâand under the mask is the Crown Prince of the land! (He is the first incarnation to refer to LadyBug as âMy Ladyâ and the term stuck!) Wizard Hawkmoth used to be in the Kingâs court but was banished. â˘Lady Bugâs horse is called âLucky Charmâ and transforms with her. Sir Chat has a horse too. I gave Chat a different weapon to suit the time period. Also they are supposed to be older and completely un-related to Marinette & Adrien, hence the appearance change. (This was really fun, I took into consideration a lot of canon from the show!! How I designed the costumes: The Process )
