#ladybug bashing

It would be the purrfect metaphor and symbolism for how she will be so caught up in her web of lies that she won’t be able to escape. Then the spider of lies will come to devour her.

When I started watching the series, I actually somewhat liked Marinette due to the fact she wasn't made into a stalker.

Though I slowly starting was a little weirded out by her when I first saw she had his schedule and was willing to steal his phone, and for some reason Marinette never got atleast in trouble for that.

She soon started doing more and more things that wasn't so normal for teenager over time, like following him without him knowing, sniffing his pillow and e.c.t.

It was so bad that in s4 - s5 that Marinette made me annoyed at her and I hated how they side lined Adrien just for her.

So I am glad that in s6, The show is actually ackowledging the fact what Marinette is doing with lying adout Monarch is bad.

Heck even in that one episode if I remember her lucky showed her with a compact mirror that she was at fault for causing the akuma, all because she somehow thought that sublime, was talking stealing her boyfriend which wasn't true it was adout the compation.

That episode reminded me of the volpina episode where Marinette as Ladybug cause a lila to be akumatized because Lila was getting close to Adrien, she didn't even bother to ask Lila to talk privelty and sort it out first.

Yeah we find out Lila or Cerise is a terrible person later on, but Marinette makes a mistake of having Lila hate both her and her ladybug persona.

Marinette is wrong for being mean to Lila and Lila is wrong for trying to ruin Marinette life.

Marinette beraly tries to gather evidence to prove Lila is lying and the school for not asking a doctor note.

Marinette let her obession of wanting to prove Lila is lying also got her into quick of lot of situations that gets her into trouble.

Like being mean to Lila who was faking an injury that everyone but her believes its true and cause people to be angry at her, throwing a napkind her to prove Lila was lying adout having a strained wrist If I remembered right and such.

I think Marinette possibly does Love Adrien but she was crushing or obessed on the version of Adrien that Gabriel created and it wasn't who Adrien truely is.

Surprised that Marinette haven't gotten expelled or atleast in trouble for the bad things she actually done, like stealing and copping someone schedule, stealing his phone and e.c.t

But like what I said eariler, I'm glad in the recent season they are actually somewhat acknowledging it atleast.

if Ladybug’s lie regarding Gabriel Agreste being monarch is exposed, Chat Noir and other Miraculous holders could potentially face legal consequences, arrests, or severe public backlash by association.

*Association and Conspiracy: Because Chat Noir and the other heroes helped Ladybug and worked alongside her during the time she was covering up the truth, they could be seen as accomplices to her deception, especially if they are viewed as part of a "team".

*The "Lie" Stakes: Ladybug claimed Gabriel was a hero, when in reality he was the terrorist Monarch. If the public realizes they were lied to about the identity of the person who caused immense destruction, trust in Ladybug—and her allies—would likely vanish.

*Legal Action: While the show rarely deals with real-world law, it has been established that the Identity Confidentiality Act considers the revealing of secret identities as a breach of national security, and by extension, knowingly operating with a "criminal" (or covering for one) could be treated as treason.

*Chat Noir’s Vulnerability: Chat Noir is the closest to Ladybug and usually acts without knowing the full details of her plans, making him the most likely to be implicated. His reputation would be severely damaged for covering for his partner, even if he did not know the truth.

*The "Roger" Factor: The police, specifically Roger Raincomprix, have previously attempted to arrest the heroes, and they would likely do so again if pressured by public outrage.

Ultimately, the lie creates a situation where the heroes are not just fighting villains, but holding secrets that could make them look like villains themselves, placing them all at risk.

All the more reason to come out with the truth. Cause if the world finds out from anyone other than her, it will result in severe consequences for not only her, but the other holders as well. She also needs to make clear that she acted on her own and the others were not involved with her lie. Gabriel may be dragging ladybug down with him but she doesn’t need to drag chat noir and the others down with her.

This is a one of the major reasons why children shouldn’t fight crime. They don’t have an understanding of the law and will commit crimes that will hurt them and everyone around them.

Summary:

Marinette remembers all the flirty things chat noir did with her as ladybug and wishes Adrien would do them with her. So she asks him and Adrien, feeling bitter about it, says no. Explaining That he didn’t need to do any of those things to make marinette fall in love with him.

Marinette feels like she’s losing out, so she tries to convince chat to tell Adrien it’s ok to do those things. He says no.

Later a writer approaches ladybug and asks her if she and chat could endorse her book.

She agrees, then asked chat to come help endorse the book. He says no.

Why is chat saying no?

After all, jagged stone dedicated a song to YOU after saving him, as if chat noir didn’t do a thing! HE HELPED TOO! What is he? Chop liver?!

You have all of Paris chanting your name in support. “Ladybug! Ladybug! Ladybug!” But is anyone chanting “chat noir! Cat noir! Chat noir!”? NO! Cause apparently chat noir doesn’t matter! You’re both supposed to be equal partners but it always about ladybug! Chat noir doesn’t get any recognition for the times he’s saved Paris. Ladybug always gets the credit! That time they fought pychocomiedian, chat noir really stepped up and took charge. Ladybug was hit by the villain’s attack and turned into an angry mega bitch and chat noir had to put up with her shit! She was sooo damn toxic and abusive to him! And he put up with it all and saved the day! But did she ever thank him or apologize for the rotten way she treated him?! For the mean horrible things she said to him? Or all the abuse she put him through?! NO! She just fuckin pretended it never happened and everyone went home.

Chat noir is patient and understanding and forgiving to a fault. He disregards his own feeling and puts on a smile pretending that nothing bothers him cause he’s been raised to believe that his feeling and problem don’t matter! That he’s being “too sensitive” he “overreacts” “he needs to just get over it”. Well I don’t see ladybug doing any of that and SHE is the one who’s “too sensitive” and “overreacts”. Chat noir just bottles up his issues and pretends he doesn’t have problems cause that’s what everyone expects from him. To be this perfect carefree guy who has no problems!

What ladybug said was downright toxic and abusive!

Chat noir deals with enough insecurities and self worth issues, he doesn’t need a toxic teammate telling him to pretty much “shut up and stop whining!”. What she said was practically a slap in the face! She may have said it in a playful and non-malicious tone, but that only hides the underlining meaning of her words.

It’s like a dog owner telling their dog what a worthless piece of shit they are in a high pitched loving manner. The dog only understands the pitch and tone. They don’t understand the words. You can say the meanest things but if you’re saying it in a friendly tone, the dog will wag their tail thinking you’re saying nice things to them.

This is the same thing. She’s being toxic but saying it in a manner where no one will take it as mean. Thats a form of toxicity in a relationship.

Chat noir boost ladybug all the time, supporting her, picking her up when she feels down, telling her how great she is. But when chat asks for the same, she and everyone else can’t be bothered!

As Adrien, he gets no praise, recognition or validation from his father. No support, no love, no telling him when he’s doing a good job. The poor kid is starved for validation and love. Not only is he not getting it in his home life, his partner can’t even be bothered to give him any kind of support when he is sorely in need of it!

Partners are supports to build each other up and boost each other’s confidence. Yet chat noir is the only one doing it! Ladybug is pretty mush emotionally unavailable to provide such support to her partner who she takes for granted!

If it was Adrien, she’d jump to make him feel better!

But oh wait, she fucks that up too. Apparently, her idea of cheering him up is giving him a gift, then taking it away from him and throwing it in the trash, making a comment that worthless things belong in the trash. Pretty much calling chat noir worthless and that he belongs in the trash. She just straight up made him feel worse!

He needed a friend to talk to about his problems, not a fuckin gift!

Talking things through fixes problems, not gifts!

She loves receiving compliments and praise but can’t be bothered to give it in return!

I actually typed up this issue in google search to see what goggle AI says and honestly, that thing sums up and possibly explains better then I can why ladybug saying that was fuckin wrong.

The writers of this show are fuckin bias. They focus too much on ladybug and don’t give enough love to chat noir. They have her interacting and connecting with other characters in the show but they don’t do the same for chat noir. Stop making it about ladybug all the time and give chat noir the recognition he sorely deserves!

The show is called “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug AND CHAT NOIR”!

Seriously! That whole episode was insulting, to both men and woman!

Bunnix spent the whole episode hero worshiping ladybug and trashing chat noir, pretty much calling him a screwup! And treating him as such.

Oh boo hoo, he accidentally cataclysmed your stupid watch! GET THE FUCK OVER IT YOU WHINY LITTLE BITCH!

Ladybug screws up all the time and you don’t see anyone holding against her!

Chat makes one little mistake and he is permanently labeled a screw up!

I see Thomas astruc’s view of ladybug vs chat noir bias and sexist. The guy claims this show is veered towards young girls and children. but adults watch this show too to see what the fuck their kids are watching. And finding out that their kids are watching a show that teaches the corrupt version of feminism is exactly the type of wrong message we don’t need being taught to our kids.

Thomas astruc seems to believe the only way a woman can be better than or equal to a man is to build the girl up by tearing the guy down.

That woman can only be smart or better if the guy is dumb or incompetent!

Thats insulting as fuck to us woman!

And just as insult to men cause they being made out to be dumb!

We don’t need your stupid girl power by shitting on men!

Seriously Thomas! Do you hate your gender that much?!

I’m all for showing that girls are awesome superhero’s too but not at the expense of making nice sweet good guy heros look bad!

Chat noir is a great guy and a purrfect gentlemen, he deserves better treatment than what Thomas Astrac is giving him!

I’m glad I write fanfiction, post and character power upgrades, boosting chat noir. Cause Thomas isn’t doing a good job of balancing out his characters.

It pisses me off that chat noir discovers his miraculous chat noir power, uses it once and it’s never used again!

That is a complete waste of character development and potential!

He could have built up on that!

But nooooo, he gotta keep it all focused on his favorite yandere stalker magic girl ladybug!

I’m inclined to believe he only gave chat that power just so it could be used to help hide ladybug’s secret and had no further desire to use it more in the show!

I have come up with soooo many awesome ideas for powers and upgrades for chat to build on his power and create more of a balance between him and ladybug. Powers that would even the playing field and make him more important and needed.

Hell, put me in charge of character development and story writing. I’ve written better episode ideas than that clown. I’ve written more compelling stories than Thomas Astrac. Any miraculous fanfic writer on AO3 could write better episodes than him.

Ladybug and chat noir had monarch cornered. Chat had him pinned down and immobile. Ladybug could have taken all the miraculous back then and there but instead she arrogantly, pridefully and cockily starts boasting and bragging about how she outsmarted him and starts monologue! Classic villain mistake and an absolute incompetent amateur move.

Chat noir was doing his job, yet ladybug can’t even do something as simple as taking the magic jewelry off the villain!

Talk about incompetence.

I know ladybug has a habit of Screwing up simple confession plans as marinette. But to fuck up something as simple as disarming a villain is hilariously pathetic.

I have a saying in regards to marinette’s classic fuck ups as a civilian.

“Where there’s a marinette, there’s a way.”

It turns out that apparently ladybug is just as bad as a hero.

“Where there’s a ladybug, there’s a way!”

You all are probably arguing that chat could have taken the jewelry too BUT he is busy holding monarch down. Any attempt to try taking miraculous while simultaneously trying to hold him down is a risky and dangerous move to make. Trying to do two things simultaneously during a high stakes situation divides your attention and can easily get you overpowered by the villain. Especially if you’re an inexperienced teen superhero.

The New York special takes place after miracle queen?!

Ladybug becomes the new guardian of the miracle box at the end of miracle Queen and keeps said box in her home.

Master fu is out of the picture after this episode.

I know their ancient magical little creatures who should know how to take care of themselves but the key word here is “MAGICAL “!

Plagg caused the extinction of the dinosaurs, the sinking of Atlantis and caused the tower of Pisa to lean! And according to su-han, the extinction of the dragons!

If plagg can do all that damage and tiki can create a giant Gellette, then what kind of havoc do you think these other kwamis can cause?!

Red Forman would call this girl a dumbass!

Seriously! I have an easier time writing about Adrien because of his traumas and hardships and ladybugs obsession and abuse. Because it focuses so much on ladybug’s obsession over him. We wouldn’t even know passionfruit was his favorite unless marinette was obsessing over making a macaroon over it!

But I can’t delve deeper into Luka because there’s no dive into what his likes and dislikes are. I don’t know what his hobbies are outside of music. I don’t know if he has a favorite food or favorite type of dessert. Or even what kind of movies or books he likes. What’s his favorite genre? Is he into horror? Comedy? Romance? Action? Thriller?

Seriously! Even Stan Lee gives more attention to his side characters in his comics than Thomas!

Even the villains in dc and marvel comic books have more depth!

They made a frickin movie about joker who is a villain, to help people understand his insanity better!

They need to build on Luka, Adrien and the other holders better and stop having ladybug be the main focus of every episode! It doesn’t need to be all about her! She can take a backseat to some episodes where it’s focused on another character without inserting her into their episodes.

If you’re gonna dedicate an episode to a side character, then actually make it about that side character and leave ladybug out of the plot!

Max’s episode “a fairy good night” is a perfect example of them being incapable of leaving ladybug/marinette out of the story. They had to insert her into max’s story and get her involved. They just couldn’t help themselves! He couldn’t have stayed at Adrien’s house or Kim’s or anyone else. It had to be marinette?! They could have had max bonding with Adrien more or with another character but they couldn’t allow that could they?!

Vampigami could have been focused on juleka and rose but they had to make it about marinette again and her stupid insistence on self manufacturing her own problems!

Dedicate an episode To Luka/viperion without dragging ladybug/marinette into the mix! Actually focus on his character development, his likes and dislikes, his passions, hobbies and interests.
