OMG that's my fave episode too!!! The back story and the crime story! And I LOVE the heartbreaking scene with the dog and the woman confessing and how that affected Sharon! That beautiful scene is prob one of my faves in the series so far tbh.
YES! I agree with you 100% about that scene. It's honestly devastating. You can see the level of conviction Mrs. Rhodes has. She feels she had no choice but to get rid of Keller following the murder of her own son. The more you learn about the power politics within the neighborhood Keller was trying to help, the more you understand why Mrs. Rhodes felt she had to do what she did. That's what makes it so affecting: you can empathize with the victim and the murderer. The whole thing is just a roundhouse kick to the feels.
