#lady fisla

Anise lol. This girl is the world's biggest gossip and she LOVES making other people's business her business. She'd absolutely spill a secret once she had it.

If I have to choose just one though, I'd have to say Axtapor's grandma, Lady Fisla. She is just such a pleasure to write! She's funny, clever, elegant, and strong and I love using her to figuratively kick Axtapor when he's being a brat LOL. (which is often mind you!) She is basically Axtapor's guiding hand and she's saved his life on multiple occasions so without her, we probs wouldn't have Axtapor as the MC at all. (in universe, of course) Honestly, I hope to be like her someday when I get older!

Honestly, I think they'd have a hard time understanding that I created them and the world they live in. Especially if I told them I also created all of their gods. They'd probably call me a liar LOL. I can imagine some of them, Wilkes and Lady Fisla in particular, would be kind of peeved that I didn't give them access to more modern forms of travel, like trains and cars. Mariel might be upset that I didn't put her in some kind of AU where she could work at a pet store or animal rescue. Anise would be pissed that I didn't give them phones with internet. She'd be a fiend on social media. Basically, they'd all be upset that I was holding out on some of the cool stuff we have in our world lol.

Each year he gives her a fur pelt from an animal that he's hunted and a string of pearls that he collects from the different islands/beaches he visits in his travels. The two will always have tea in her garden (one of her own homemade blends, of course!) and will go see a play together. He doesn't like the theater so much, but his grandma does (she had the pipe dream of being a traveling actress), so he bears it for her sake because he likes to see her smile. 🥺
