𝔥𝔢𝔢𝔩𝔰 𝔱𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔡𝔩𝔶 against the stone pavement   ,    she walked past unfamiliar figures  ,   their eyes glancing upon her .  Verena enjoyed having long walks throughout the city especially when it was still early in the morning and the sun wasn’t burning hot against her pale skin .  Of course   ,    she would have enjoyed it even more if she wasn’t forced to be followed by her guards   .   A price she had to pay for carrying the name of a Lannister   .   Turning around her face  ,   Verena noticed a sudden appearance of someone who startled her at first.          “  Oh   ,     My apologies. I must have been drifting off.     ”

the weight of the crown felt unusual on her head and she kept worrying that the priceless trinket was about to fall off her any moment. she gave a small polite smile to all who bowed as she made her way around the now crowded throne room. she had expected it would feel overwhelming, all these high nobles moving into the red keep, who had all gathered with the sole purpose of paying their respects. or stabbing her in the back, a voice reminded her and her smile tightened for a second. she felt a voice clearly say ‘your grace’ behind her, catching her attention. she turned around to find the source, “ yes? ”
