labels are indeed very weird and complex.
i, by definition, could qualify forĀ āsapphilleanā, but it just doesnāt feel right or fitting to me personally.
iām a (partially) masc-aligned nblm and even non-men-aligned nonbinary people can be achellian/veldian, but thatās just not me. it doesnāt connect the way sapphic does.
i honestly think i would consider myself straight before considering myself fully mlm (Iām nowhere near that, of course, especially since my attraction to men feels pretty insignificant to the point where iām closer to lesbian, but this is all hypothetical).
the point is: let people use whichever labels they think suit them best. yeah there are certain qualifications necessary ig because words each have some sort of definitive meaning somewhere but they know themselves better than you do. also donāt gatekeep labels either thatās bad (or so iāve recently learned lol).
