Been off for 6 weeks since the annual Philippine Labor Day because school works, you know (Yeaaah, it sucks right? School day while you having a great summer).
May 1, the annual labor day of the Philippines, is the most awaited day of people who pay their rents, families to support or whatever reason just to make/earn money because they can take a break and have fun even just for a day. Apparently, not just the working guys/girls are excited for this day but students, like me, as well because of the same reasons as working people have (yes, students work).
Most of you know what’s the trend when you can already smell the labor day. Well of course it’s #LaBoracay, but for people (I’m with them) who can’t (yet) afford the plane ticket and all are just making there own #La*insert place here* or whatever Labor Day pakulo that can happen.
Batangas’ beaches are the most convenient and closest to my place. Burot Beach from Calatagan, Batangas is where my friends want to be. It has white sand, well not white as Boracay has, but we can work on it as long we're enjoying the place with the ones who we love and not to mention, it has a great view of the sun setting.
Talking about style wise, I wore my ‘Say Hello to Summer’ shirt from Coco Republic, my denim polo and blue trunks from UniQlo, and my fedora hat from SM Accesories.
To sum it all up, I had a fun Labor Day with my friends. No doubt that the group of friends that I have are hell of a kind.
