To Charli: Yes, because it's too much work to make contingency plans excluding him. In addition to planning the wedding they have college courses and Eli. They're exhausted. They put Kenny on Cartman wrangling duty. If it looks like he's too close to a microphone or raising a glass to give a speech? Tackle him. If he might say something racist to Charli's dad?
