[cw sexual assault/rape, talking about 2010' hawks] Holy shit I'm reading about the Hawks sexual assault scandal of the 2010 run cause like, I knew a little about it but not much more than what and when, but like I'm waiting on a copy of "We breed lions" (which I have to order from another place cause it never got here but whatever) and I thought: hey, I could inform myself on another sexual assault incident involving hockey that I know vaguely about. And you mean to tell me than not only parts of management knew but they covered it up so hard that not only didn't they do shit but when they asked the rapist to resign they wrote him a RECOMMENDATION LETTER????? Are you fucked in the head???? And then he proceeded to go to ncaa, was a massive creep again, left, volunteered as a high school coach and there raped a 16 year old teenager, which 1) wouldn't have happened if the fuckers working for the Hawks at the time who stayed silent had done their job correctly and 2) fucking Bettman went on record TWICE stating it was none of the NHL's business if the kid needed therapy and couldn't afford it like holy fucking shit the NHL and the Hawks' ownership could use cash as pillows and build a fort with it but you can't be held accountable and pay for a survivor who was raped as a teenager because you let a criminal roam free without telling anyone. These people are so fucking vile, I hope they are guilt riddled for their entire life, thing is I know they aren't, the one who feels guilty is Kyle Beach (who was assaulted while on the hawks) because he thinks he should've done more, bud no! You are not guilty! 2010' Hawks and the culture that allows for that kind of shit to fly are!!
