The first (and really only) signs of a potential relationship in the show are in the episode "Clubhouses". In this episode, Bebe has a crush on Kyle because she likes his ass and even writes a note very grossly describing it. Wendy tries to set up something between her and Kyle, who at the time is totally oblivious to the fact she's into him. This leads to her playing Truth or Dare with Kyle in Stan's clubhouse and kissing him per Wendy's dare. At this he gets scared and runs away from her leading Bebe to "break up" with him (even though they were never dating. In other terms, she ended her crush on him. That was the only time the show mentioned the possibility of them having something together that wasn’t for a gag. (like in "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" where Kyle only likes her because she was growing breasts, but all the other boys did too). They didn’t really talk much after this. The last major interaction between them was in "The List", where Bebe has all the girls vote Kyle as the ugliest boy in school and Clyde as the cutest, so Bebe could use him to get free shoes. However, neither of them were said or shown to have hard feelings after this so in general they seem to be on decent terms, not close friends but okay classmates.

How I Think They'd End Up Together (Headcanon Time) 💚

Kyle had 4 main girls (that I can remember) who showed interest in him, in this order. Bebe, Rebecca, Nichole and Heidi. I posted why I don’t think he'd end up with any of them but Bebe here.

But I'll explain the process in real time.

Let's first get Rebecca Costswald out of the way, since it was presumed she left the school and hasn’t been seen since that one episode.

After the whole thing with Cartman and Heidi, and Heidi literally fucking bullying him after they dated (for like 2 days) and he tried to help her escape Cartman's manipulation, I would think Kyle avoided her almost entirely until she went to therapy and apologized to everyone. And even then they probably weren't cool for a while. Any romantic feelings were long forgotten. He forgave her mostly out of pity for her being abused by Eric but the tension never fully went away until they were in high-school, as he was still hurt and mad at her for giving into Cartmans bullshit and finally noticing she always secretly had his bigoted mentality hence why they dated in the first place.

They eventually became friends again but any romantic interest never came back.

Now, during the time Heidi was in therapy and not speaking to anyone at school, it was middle school and Kyle was into Nichole Daniels. Those two actually liked each other and genuinely clicked together. The only reason they didn’t end up together was because of Cartman. And Kyle knew this. So he wanted to pursue her again. But this was a problem for him since she was with Tolkien. He really hated this and avoided her too as well as Tolkien. They did end up talking things out but he was still pretty lonely and a little bitter because during freshman year. Stan was on and off with Wendy, Kenny was having a mostly sexual relationship with Tammy, Tolkien was dating Nichole, Craig and Tweek had each other, etc etc.

It seemed like everyone around him was dating someone except him. It got to the point where until sophomore year he avoided girls altogether since the last three he liked broke his heart. He pretty much decided to just throw himself into his schoolwork.

Now for Bebe, in canon, she follows along the lines of the stereotypical popular flirty blonde cheerleader who can kind of be a bitch but is generally nice. She was the first girl in the show to have a crush on Kyle but seemed to get over that and got with Clyde Donavon. However, their relationship is seemingly shallow, since she's only really with him because his dad owns a shoe store and can give her free shoes. In my Clyde Hcs, I mentioned that Clyde ended up cheating on her in high-school though and she broke up with him. The relationship was shallow and she didn’t have any real feelings for him besides what he gave her, but she was still hurt by his betrayal.

Not just that, Clyde, being offended by her dumping him decided to just completely slander her reputation around school, making up rumors about her that she's some sort of stupid cheating whore. Thankfully though, Wendy got that all cleared up as soon as possible. I think people in school believe she's had a lot of boyfriends when in actuality she's only seriously dated Clyde. She's just attracted lots of attention from other guys.

After the breakup and all the drama that followed, Bebe got over things pretty fast and just focused on herself for a while. She started hanging around Wendy much more, and by proxy Stan and his friends. And along this time, she realized Kyle was looking kind of hot lately.

Once Bebe regained her crush on Kyle, her first reaction was disgust. Not necessarily at him, more like disgust at the situation she's in again. She is very aware of how painfully dense Kyle is when it comes to girls. And she was under the assumption Kyle likely disliked her. Partly due to their history (you know, her ruining his life by labelling him the ugliest boy at school, holding him at gunpoint, attempting to forcibly kiss him.) and partly because of Clyde's rumors about her. All of these factors told Bebe that telling Kyle she liked him was gonna lead to him rejecting her at best or running away screaming (again) at worst. So Bebe just kept this infatuation to herself and never told anybody, not even Wendy about it. However, she did always find a reason to be near him. She couldn’t really help herself, she loves being around him.

I think she would go to him for help with her homework. It’s a two birds, one stone situation. Her grades had been bad lately because she's been dealing with her drama regarding Clyde and not focusing in class and Kyle is conveniently offering tutoring sessions after school for anyone who needs it. Bebe would probably go to him like, "I'm so sorry for bothering you, I just didn’t know who else to turn to. I'm failing almost half my classes, and my parents have already taken away my phone.", etc, etc basically giving him a sob story about how she just needs his help specifically over anyone else's (even though she's friends with like several straight A students, including Wendy who was very willing to help her). Which by the Kyle IMMEDIATELY falls for, he gets very easily manipulated into doing things for people if they make it sound like he's needed to do it.

They would start as just study friends. Going over either Kyle or Bebe's house to do homework together. However, after a couple weeks of this, Kyle started noticing Bebe was learning the material pretty fast and already had her grades back up. He was a little surprised because he heard previously by many classmates she was just a stupid blonde but he figured that likely wasn't true a while ago since the rumor was started by Clyde. He would also be pleasantly surprised because most of the people he tutors are mouth breathing idiots. The two were pretty drawn to each other conversation-wise. Aside from their studies, they talked a lot. Like a LOT. Kyle is a yapper. And Bebe matches that energy pretty much the same.

As the study sessions go on, Bebe finds herself genuinely looking forward to them—not just for the help, but for the way Kyle talks. She likes listening to him rant about politics or math or whatever random topic he’s obsessed with that week. He’s animated in this charming, nerdy way, and his passion makes even the dullest subjects sound important. Kyle, meanwhile, slowly starts to realize that tutoring Bebe is the highlight of his week. She’s not just “the popular girl” anymore—she’s funny, sharp, and surprisingly easy to talk to. She teases him relentlessly but also listens to him in a way few people ever do.

One day, their dynamic shifts. They’re supposed to be studying, but instead they’re talking about everything else—life, school, people they used to be friends with. The conversation drifts into personal territory, and Bebe admits she still gets anxious about the rumors Clyde spread. Kyle doesn’t even hesitate; he tells her she doesn’t owe anyone an apology for his lies. He knew about the bullshit Clyde had said about her, he didn’t believe it.
