Can "queer" people stop taking over this fucking atrocity to: 1) stop calling allll the victims 'queers' when they were most likely GAYS in a GAY club for GAYS who identified as GAY and probably had the term 'queer' thrown at them all their lives by homophobes 2) to stop using their privileges to erase LGBT people and their experiences in order to shout about 'queerphobia' when, no, it's fucking homophobia you self-absorbed assholes 3) at least attempt to acknowledge the privileges they have as a result of being gender conforming (the most attacks for being GNC are on butch lesbians - stop trying to erase that fact) and of being in a straight relationship. You - white, unoppressed het - will not be targeted for being a 'heteromantic asexual' bc guess what, no one fucking cares but you. You are STRAIGHT. We are GAY. That is why we are targeted, harassed, assaulted and fucking murdered. Quit trying to co-opt our struggle, our experiences, our lives and our harshships bc being a privileged white het is too much for your white conscience to bear. 50 LGBT were murdered. Stop making this about YOU.

kweers pretending they care, pretending to be all fucking progressive while they refer to the victims as 'queers'. in life, those lgbt victims were hounded, with that word being used to vilify them and justify any violence against them. in death, the very people bullying them, beating them, killing them are the ones to use that same disgusting slur. fuck y'all.
