Fandom: Miraculous Ladybug

Notes/Warnings: Ugh was trying to get this up before my eye appointment today, but that didn’t happen.  Apologizing again if anything glaring is missed – my eyes are still a little jacked up from the appointment, and editing happened after the fact.  (But hey, have some kwami fluff/Sassypants.  I love that lil’ guy.)

“What’re you doing, Marinette?”

Marinette looked up at Tikki’s voice, smiling at her kwami.  She looked back at the page before her and smiled.

“It’s a secret,” she said, winking at her.  Sass popped up beside Tikki, peeking down at the sketchbook. Marinette tipped the sketchbook back against her chest before he could see anything.

“Sssssecretssss?  I love ssssecretssss,” he hissed, and Marinette giggled as she tapped her pencil against the turquoise kwami’s head.

Plagg Cataclysmed the dinosaurs (either one cataclysm ended all of them or he personally went after each and every one of them)

Fact #2

The Miraculous were created by an human, and before that, the Kwami couldn't interact with the physical world. (They are heavily implied to have been created by a chinese mage)

Fact #3

Fluff can travel in time. (And probably doesn't experience the flow of time in the same way everyone else does)

Conclusion:

Plagg and Fluff (And probably Trixx, because why not) traveled in time to kill the Dinosaurs.

Alix being the Holder of the Rabbit was foreshadowed a LONG time ago (With the intro to season 2, more precisely) and I thought Fluff’s powers would involve speed somehow and her weapon would be skates, or she would be able to wear it as skates… boy I was wrong. Having the Rabbit be Alice in Wonderland themed was a nice surprise, the only thing missing was giving Alix a pinafore dress or something resembling a suit. She is the White Rabbit after all!

Anyway, even if the Time Travel is confusing (It always is) and we’ll probably will never have it spelled to us what exactly happened there, so I’d enjoy that for what it is.

Now, what the episode implies…

There are two possibilities with Time Bragger tagger. One, is that for some reason, he lied to Hawk Moth and he is still the Hawk Moth of the future. This implies that at the very least, Marinette and Adrien will be Ladybug and Chat Noir for at least other 4 years (Bunnix refers to herself and the ladybug and Chat of her time as adults, so they’re at least 18. Time Tagger being Nino’s little brother, however, means that Bunnix is from 4-10 years in the future.) This does not look good for Nooroo :c

Possibility number 2: They are not lying and there is a new Hawk Moth in town. There are three more possibilities with this (I feel like this is as convoluted as the Zelda timeline). Option A. They defeated Hawk Moth, they recover the Butterfly and the Peacock. There is peace for some time, but someone discovers the Miraculous and manages to steal the Butterfly again. This is the best option as it allows Nooroo a bit of peace, even if short lived. Option B. They defeat Hawk Moth, but they don’t recover the Butterfly. Either Gabriel has an apprentice or someone randomly find it and terrorizes Paris now. Option C. They don’t defeat Hawk Moth, whether he succeeded or not is irrelevant, he passed the mantle to someone, or someone stole the miraculous from him.  

Either way, the future doesn’t seem very bright for our heroes :/

So that got me thinking about it, and I realized that… with the track record of the show, it’s highly probable we’ll never see the rabbit again (Or at least no Future!Alix) and, much like the Butterfly and the Peacock, the concept of the Rabbit was never actually expressed by anyone. So I’m changing Fluff being the concept of “Time” for the concept of “Return”, after all, Alice eventually wanted to return home after exploring Wonderland.

And because The Return Card in Sakura Card Captor had the ability to travel back in time, while the Time Card had the ability to control time (Stop, slow down, speed up)

And all we saw of Bunnix was her returning to the fight against Time Tagger, and later returning to her own time. We never saw her traveling to where she hadn’t been before.

So yeah, unless we get confirmation in the show (Not on twitter) that  Fluff is Time, I’m gonna be firm with this.

Decided to do something slightly different in order to see his Signature Badge as the Mythical Travel Squad's High-Ranked Ice Mage & Time Freezer ❄️

Fun Fact: Each member of the Mythical Travel Squad has a signature badge/emblem that's the same ones of the MLB Kwami they're based on, with Austin being based on Fluff the Rabbit Kwami ⏳

Austin Clockwise is indeed the bunny boy that's capable in freezing time for a certain amount of seconds 🕰️

However he's not really used to the thought of traveling through time, as it's a power he does have but chose not to use it due to the potential risks 🐰
