III: Introduction Of The First Guitar Solo) A minute or so after the decline of the bass guitar solos, I then switched to the Dean VX for improvisational impressions, a very rare occurrence within The Project, as the Flying V clone has only been used a little less than a handful of times. It has been featured on compositions such as 'The Phoenix, The Viaduct, The Gate' (as the closing distorted rhythm guitar and lead guitar solo), 'The Phoenix Pt. II' (as the main left channel rhythm guitar in the second chord sequence) and the entirety of 'The Vibration Of Ancestry'. The Dean VX at this point had a lighter gauge string set than usual, giving it a very crunchy sound in the bass strings, and a very light euphorically inclined supliment within the higher strings, resulting in a very wavy effect that keeps the listener on their toes through out the improvisation.
