My Introduction to Crochet

I thought it would be ideal for my first post on Tumblr to be my first crochet makes. These are two monsters I created from Kerry Lord’s ‘Imaginarium’ book, and they are my first crochet endeavors! 

I initially took up crochet in order to fill my spare time and ease my anxiety, so I decided I would make a couple of unique gifts for some small family members. After a few days, these are what I created. As a first attempt at a new craft I couldn’t be more proud of them!

They are loved by their new owners and I have had requests from people for me to make them their own little monsters too (bearing in mind they’re fully grown adults, I must be doing something right!!) From there I decided the possibilities were endless, and I decided to create my own Etsy shop, KVMCrafts, where I sell the items I make! I also share my making process and take Custom Orders on my Instagram, @KVMCrafts!
