Kuroze (they/them) and Cardiac (she/they) are fighting rivals in the ring, although mostly one-sided. With Kuroze's swift and quick movements somehow besting Cardiac's heavy power-based combat, Cardiac has lost every battle to Kuroze. Cardiac greatly envies Kuroze's combat ability and reputation, outranking that of her own. She seeks to continue challenging Kuroze, often annoyingly taunting and attempting to provoke them. However, Kuroze views her as a lowly opponent, prioritizing stronger rivals such as Saint. Cardiac becomes further infuriated by Kuroze's refusal to acknowledge her, fueling her anger and bitter feelings of rivalry towards Kuroze. However, Cardiac's feelings towards Kuroze are fairly mixed and she finds herself strangely attracted to them. At times, she uncharacteristically stumbles with her words or actions in Kuroze's presence, sloppily attempting to remedy her goofs with more blatant mockery and insults. Although Kuroze feels nothing regarding Cardiac, they do realize Cardiac's strange behavior towards them, teasing them and subtly flirting before effortlessly defeating them and flying off. This leaves Cardiac blushed and infuriated, leading her to dedicate both training time and alone nights thinking of Kuroze.
