Jeez Vlad get your shit together xDVlad x Lux (Long writing warning)This is an old pairing (the very first pairing I ever shipped for LOL) and itâs very hard to describe in a few words. So far I have yet to finish my fanfiction on these two, yet Iâve already the ending and all that planned out, just need to write it out. This pairing is peculiar because neither would really experience natural attraction towards each other. Vladimir being a disgusting hemomancer and a murderer while Lux being a relatively innocent girl who sometimes suffers from the shadow of her past. The only reason they would be attracted to each other would be A. Circumstances and setting, which is provided by League, and B. Subconscious needs. The way I see it, Lux was attracted to him because of his magic and the aura of mystery around him, curiosity being the primary drive for her to want to know him. (similar feeling when you have a crush on someone, it isnât love, just wanting to know them better.) Headcanon-wise, Lux had a difficult time with her family, and Garen even. She was sent to be trained, so she had little to no real close friends, which is important and plants a subconscious need for her to obtain intimate relationships. Second, she had little to no romantic experiences, so she was in a relatively vulnerable mental position when confronting Vladimir. She questions her own feelings constantly, yet she couldnât help but fall for him. Here is when things become interesting, itâs the contradicting effect of her subconscious âwanting to obtain an intimate relationshipâ and at the same time âfear losing such intimate relationship (as she did with her family and Garen)â that caused her to find Vlad such an attractive person. Some people probably have experienced this funny phenomenon before in their lives, when you just seem to fall for the wrong ones. Subconsciously she knew they werenât meant for each other, and yet she still pursues simply because of the mental comfort of âbecause we wonât be so close, therefore I am safe such that I wonât lose him.â Sometimes a similar psych-pattern emerges in people who repeatedly seek Long-Distance relationships, or just downright âdonât feel attracted to anyone immediately around me.âTL;DR: I ship Vlad Lux, because I have my own justifications xD I canât say any more about them lest I spoil my own fanfiction LOLVlad x KuroidThey can really back each other up. A platonic and great relationship. With Vladimirâs lack of empathy and cold rationality, sometimes even I wonder if heâs actually a robot xD I see them becoming great companions.
