I've finished Chapter 5, and I have some things to say about it.
Honest truth: I'm not sure where to go with the Kurellow fic.
The main problem of Pentellow ditching Iris' ass and telling him how she feels is already taken care of. So... where to next? (If anywhere at all?)
Now sure, there's a lot to delve into that I've hinted at - Iris' shitty actions, Kura's past (also addressing her being omnilingual), what Pentellow was doing right before the events of Chapter 1... but I'm just not sure how to structure it, or if I should just make a separate series on all of those questions.
I'm not sure how to go about this, is what I'm saying. (Also, questions about the series would be largely appreciated! /nf)
Update on why the kurellow fic is taking so long!
So... lil spoiler, Chapter 3 contains a smut scene. Now, the thing is, I can't really write smut. This is like, my first attempt at writing (real, non-crack) smut. I've written suggestive stuff, sure, and I'm aware of what the scene involves, but I've been facin' a bit of writer's block. I do apologize for the inconvenience, however as a lil' treat Chapter 3 is longer than Chapters 1 and 2 combined, aaaaand I've started scripting out Chapter 4 too!

Update on the Kurellow fic (Chapter 5):
It's almost done, however I have a really bad cold. Like really bad. I'm going to rest up and let myself get better, and when inspiration strikes me you know I'll be typing away like there's no tomorrow.
Anyways, uhhhh yeah. Also also: I think I should add a disclaimer (I wasn't intending for the fic to even get this popular): The fic will have smut. There is sexual tension between the two. Will I put a warning for each chapter containing said smut? Yes, always. Will there be more non-smut chapters? Of course ^^
Also: Yes, I am implying in the fic that Circubit was traumatized by something related to Iris, and that Pentellow could've met that same fate. Yes, the "mask" wording in Chapter 4 is referring to Kura being neurodivergent (also that her ex was ableist as fuck, thankfully she never has to see him again).
Last note: I am not in any way trying to say that heterosexual or hetero-passing relationships or being vanilla is a bad thing. I repeat, there is nothing wrong with being straight or vanilla, even if your partner isn't. It DOES become a bit of an issue when you put your partner in situations where they're forced to repress who they are. And yes - aftercare is always a good thing to know, regardless of where you fall on a sexuality spectrum. Please, y'all. PLEEEASE.

i am currently working on chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10 at the same time. on a shitty ass ipod touch, mind you, as my computer broke because this world can be cruel /lh
