Hii, this is an awesome question! I love talking about my faves, ty for the ask <3 (feel free to send more). Yeah, it's a rare pair, I've only seen a couple other Kurapika x Melody truthers, but we certainly exist XD
In summary, I really liked that Melody was an anchor for Kurapika during the Yorknew arc. I'm a sucker for relationships where one person is able to uniquely calm the other person down, or bring them back to earth in some way (Killua putting a hand on Gon's shoulder when he almost killed Morel / Komugi keeping Meruem's anger and darkness in check). It's like a "home" type of feeling, which I think is very important in a healthy and deep relationship
Kurapika was going through a lot emotionally during this arc--he was extremely closed off, focused, angry and volatile. But almost every time, Melody was there to calm him down either with reason or with her nen ability. I also just loved the way she went about it--sweet and gentle, with her soft voice and kind nature. A contrast to Kurapika's fierceness, and I'm a sucker for a yin/yang moment, hehe. She managed to earn his trust, and she also made friends with the gang at the end :) all around cute vibes!
