#Repost @n3xt.stop • • • • • • Frauenkirche Dresden Zum Laternen-Mittwoch ein schönes Exemplar vor der Dresdner Frauenkirche. Die Frauenkirche wurde zwischen 1726 und 1743 errichtet und galt als einer der beeindruckendsten barocken Kuppelbauten nördlich der Alpen. In der Nacht vom 13. zum 14. Februar 1945 wurde die Kirche bei einem Bombenangriff schwer beschädigt. Die Kuppel brach den folgenden Tag in sich zusammen. So rettete das Gebäude noch um die 300 Menschen die sich während des Angriffs in der Kirche Zuflucht suchten. Nach der Wiedervereinigung wurde die Frauenkirche wieder aufgebaut und am 30.
