"Never say that again." Akutagawa growls, shoving Tachihara against the wall. Tachihara winches, the wind being knocked out of him as Rashomon snarls in his ear. "Sorry, geez-" Tachihara gasps out, reaching to readjust his dress. Damnit, why'd he have to wear a dress? Akutagawa would look sexy as hell in one- He should not be thinking about this. Akutagawa rolls his eyes, letting him drop to the floor. Tachihara looks up at him. His suit is embroidered with care, and form-fitting to a stunning degree. And yeah, maybe Tachihara's dress is the same, but it makes him feel... weird. Like maybe he'd wanna keep wearing it after this. He can't imagine why. "Get up, we still have a dealer to find." Akutagawa's voice cuts through his thoughts, and he nods hurriedly, standing up. Oh well, he'll wonder about this later. It's probably nothing.
nikonathan + "you're a bad idea"
"You're a bad idea." Nathaniel snarls out, as Nikolai drags its mouth across a cut, licking the blood off. He could carve it open from the inside, and that would be a mercy to both of them. It knows that. It stares at him, hungry, willing, waiting. "You must adore those, then." It whispers, trailing a sinful kiss up to his neck, and then to his ear. He grits his teeth. "Do not claim to know what I care for."
kunilai + "we can't do this right now"
"We can't do this right now." Kunikida snaps, trying to grab his book back from Nikolai. Nikolai tosses it up, retreating back into its overcoat before catching it before Kunikida can. It pretends to thoughtfully thumb through the pages for a moment, eye darting from Kunikida to his book and back again, and then smirks. Kunikida's eyes narrow. "Nikolai-" Nikolai bites into the book with a vengeance. "Made an opening in your schedule for you!" "NIKOLAI."

good god kunilai/nikokuni is so underappreciated and i really wish it was talked about more - first of all they'd be the most chaotic couple I can think of secondly they're LITERAL POLAR OPPOSITES nikolai fights to be free of feeling and expectations while kunikida will always be controlled by his emotions (even above his ideals) and places expectations on himself ... I hope and pray for at least one nikolai-kunikida interaction, I'd love to see their worldviews collide because I can just tell they'd be terrible together and this gives me so much joy
