Macabre isn't really my aesthetic, though I kinda liked how that part of yesterday's comic turned out so I made a nicer, full version. Happy October! Lighter stuff comin' soon.
My two sleeping beauties: Laurie, a Volks Yo-SD Anne Sweet Dream from 2006, and Seren, a kindergarten Kun-kun head circa 2020, on a temporary Pettimal body. His open-eyed face-plate, below, is a kindergarten Xing-xing, and his adorable outfit is by 暖暖暖薄荷 (official English name: Melting Mint).
More of this little guy, I am enjoying him so much! Looking forward to when his 2D Doll body arrives and I can play with him together with Soo (he's borrowing Soo's body for now).

I didn't expect to like Kun-kun (sleepy-eyed face) more than Xing-xing (open-eyed), but I do! He was so easy to paint, especially around his beautifully sculpted eyes. This little one has wormed his way into my heart far more quickly than I had expected~
(NB. In the photo, Xing-xing doesn't have his eyelashes in yet.)
My oldest doll (Shiina, a Volks MSD Hewitt, 2004) and newest doll head (kindergarten Kun-kun, 2020).
