Fietsen over de Sattels

Gisteren ben ik op pad gegaan om naar Kühtaï te fietsen. Deze klim had ik in een ver verleden al eens gedaan. Als klap op de vuurpijl zou ik ook de Silzer Sattel beklimmen. Tenminste als ik me goed zou voelen. Om de hitte een beetje voor te blijven vertrok ik al vroeg.

There’s still snow even though it’s already spring time.  As we got closer, it was literally a ghost town. I mean like almost all of the stores were closed because it was “off-season” meaning the place is only available when it’s ski season.

And now, we have arrived at Kühtai! We were able to park the van at a store/restaurant that it’s in a form of a house. It was closed and there were tables, benches and chairs outside. Here’s a photo of me and the pretty view from behind.

There are evene animals in the middle of the place. Hmmm, wondering where there owners are. We passed by a few houses on the way here but I only saw a few people walking around the streets.

After taking a few family and solo photos, we decided to drive down that lake. I think it’s a dam rather than a lake though.

The two tiny people are my sister and older brother. They went to the tip of the sand bar. Lol, the dam is pretty clean and the mountains. Damn.

Eventually, there sand is different from the ones back home. But I don’t know if it’s really sand or mud since it pretty sticky and it stains your shoes.

You see a roof at the left most side of the photo? Yeap, that’s where we came from. We drove down to get here.

Time to go up these alps. We went back in the car to drive up the hills. Eventually, mom was scared so we stopped before it got steeped and we all went to play with the snow. Took us about thirty minutes or so just goofing off and playing with snow and taking solo photos. This is the first time in my family we get to play with snow. The first time we were able to experience snow was in 2013. It was also the first time we went to Canada.

After playing around, it was time to leave. The view is even better up the hill. It even looks like it’s been painted. It was worth more than 196 Euros though it took us an hour to get here. 

The view is also good from down the hill. Today was definitely one for the books. Too overjoyed even my siblings feel the same way too.

Time to get in the van since the sun was about to set.

Goodbye Kühtai! Didn’t expect anything form you but you turned out to be really beautiful and breathtaking at the same time.

Oh wait. we stopped only after five minutes from driving away from the dam and now we’re playing with snow still. Mom gave us around fifteen minutes to play and finally leave the place back to Innsbruck.

Out of the snow, we were able to make a mini snowman. Shout out to Kaitlyn, This is for you from me and Deric. Lol. Fifteen minutes is up and it’s time to go.
