Contributor Jon London sent in a bit of his own air work several years ago. Along with the aircheck, he wrote:
Hey! I just heard me on KD! Pretty cool….. I didn’t say much though. Here’s something from KS95 when I was over there for a couple of years. Feels good to contribute.

PLEASE STOP. boycott that shit. every freaking MONTH i’m listening to it, they have some half-racist, white privileged assed opinion on something and i’ve had so much more than enough. This morning they were bitching about the traffic on 35W, a major highway shut down to protest black deaths by police. They had white people calling in lodging their complaints to, because I know no black person in their right mind would be mad at traffic when simply the color of their skin has them getting shot by police. No, it wasn’t Black Lives Matter, my state’s chapter put out a statement. While they stand in solidarity with this morning’s protest, it was not initiated by them. It was peaceful. These 26 people knew what they were doing. They got out of their cars, they lined up, linked arms, and sat down. Traffic came to standstill. They were cuffed and taken away. No violence occurred. And I fucking supported it. I almost cried listening to ks95 in the car this morning. Their white privileged words, shaming these peaceful protestors, focusing their hate on the traffic. Where is their hate for innocent people being killed? I wonder how they’d feel if it was their husbands, their brothers, their friends being shot at by the police. I wonder how they’d feel if they could put themselves in the shoes of a black person for just ONE MINUTE. I bet they wouldn’t even know what to say, if they could only truly understand. What’s extra traffic when people are being killed by the ones who have been hired to protect us? What’s a fit of anger over traffic when there’s a woman and a child left fatherless and husbandless this week?
You’re mad because there’s traffic? Well, I’m mad because people are dead at the hands of those meant to protect and to serve. Check your white privilege.

"Clouds"
Well I fell down, down, down Into this dark and lonely hole There was no one there to care about me anymore And I needed a way to climb and grab a hold of the edge You were sitting there holding a rope And we'll go up, up, up But I'll fly a little higher We'll go up in the clouds because the view is a little nicer Up here my dear It won't be long now, it won't be long now When I get back on land Well I'll never get my chance Be ready to live and it'll be ripped right out of my hands Maybe someday we'll take a little ride We'll go up, up, up and everything will be just fine And we'll go up, up, up But I'll fly a little higher We'll go up in the clouds because the view is a little nicer Up here my dear It won't be long now, it won't be long now If only I had a little bit more time If only I had a little bit more time with you We could go up, up, up And take that little ride And sit there holding hands And everything would be just right And maybe someday I'll see you again We'll float up in the clouds and we'll never see the end And we'll go up, up, up But I'll fly a little higher We'll go up in the clouds because the view is a little nicer Up here my dear It won't be long now, it won't be long now
