What have I learned in these last seven long years?

I’ve learned that love isn’t always enough, however, ambition, trust, and faith are.

I’ve learned that just because you can dream something, doesn’t mean that it will come true… but that isn’t always a bad thing, as new dreams that you never even knew existed can come to light, and they are bigger than ever.

I’ve learned that patience is sometimes a blessing, and sometimes a curse and that I’m thankful for it either way.

I’ve learned that we are stronger than we ever thought possible and can overcome even the most treacherous of obstacles.

I’ve learned that the butterflies never actually go away; they just mature along with you.

I’ve learned that magic is real, and it is within us.

I’ve learned that soulmates aren’t found, they’re created (and that makes it even more special).

I’ve learned these and many things over these last seven long years.

And I’ve learned them all from you.

And I’m grateful for that.

I can’t write the way I used to.

I can’t express all of the words I want to say.

But what I can do is tell you how much I love you. How much I have always loved you, from the day we met.

And I am yours, forever and always, no matter what comes our way.

I believe in you, I believe in me, and I believe in us.

It hasn’t been easy. Far from it, in fact, I think we can both agree.

I wouldn’t change it for the world, though.

You are my rock, my lover, and my best friend.

My melonhead, my pooh-bear, my Captain-Fuckin’-Toad.

You are my Kriskross.

And I love you, so, so much.
